Hearst Ranch Enters Into Licensing Agreement With Withnail LLC

Hearst Ranch, the nation’s largest single-source provider of grass-fed, grass-finished beef, announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement Withnail LLC. to manage its website and market its premium beef online.

Steve Hearst, Vice President and General Manager of Western Properties Division for Hearst Corporation, stated that the Withnail agreement will allow Hearst Ranch to continue to focus on producing the finest grass-fed beef in the country.

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco announces the unveiling of Seasons Restaurant’s newly reconcepted American steakhouse menu. Featuring stand-out dishes by Executive Chef Mark Richardson, the new menu offers a selection of prime California cuts accompanied by a variety of inventive sauces and playful interpretations on classic steakhouse side dishes.

Statement from Steve Hearst Regarding the Recent Zebra Shooting

"At the Hearst Ranch, we will continue to do our best to contain our zebras. But, if they do stray from our property, we ask that anyone who sees them to please treat them with respect and to contact us immediately, as we do for our neighbors when their animals cross over onto our land.

Recent Survey Finds that Farmers and Ranchers are "Green"

Two-thirds of US cattle farms and ranches have been in the same family for two generations or more. American cattle farmers and ranchers have embraced the values of Earth Day for generations, and Americans recognize that commitment. Eighty-six percent of Americans surveyed think cattle farmers and ranchers are committed to environmental preservation.

The conclusion: “This Earth Day, America’s 1 million cattle farmers and ranchers are being recognized as having one of the greenest jobs.”
